Chris Dobey gets over the line, sealing a spot in the semi-finals with his sixth match dart, as he confidently defeats Dirk van Duijvenbode 10-5!

Dirk van Duijvenbode is uitgeschakeld in de kwartfinales van The Masters. Aubergenius, gisteren nog te sterk voor Gerwyn Price, ging in Milton Keynes onderuit tegen Chris Dobey: 5-10. Van Duijvenbode was scorend lange tijd de betere van de Engelsman, maar het finishen op de dubbels ging de Nederlander minder af.
Ook gooide de 30-jarige 'Aubergenius' een fraaie 125-finish uit (zie onder). Helaas kon hij niet voorkomen dat de 2 jaar oudere Dobey net aan scherper was.
Masters
Later op de zondag komen Danny Noppert en Michael van Gerwen in actie voor een plaats bij de laatste 4 van The Masters, het eerste PDC-televisietoernooi van het jaar na het WK.
