Wright pakt cadeautjes Durrant gretig uit en is Grand Slam-finalist

Peter Wright mag zich de eerste finalist van de Grand Slam of Darts 2019 noemen. ‘Snakebite’ won van Glen Durrant met 16-11. Nu kan de Schot lekker in een luie stoel gaan kijken naar die andere halve finale tussen Michael van Gerwen en Gerwyn Price.

De winnaar van die pot is zondagavond (rond 20.00 uur, Nederlandse tijd) de tegenstander van Wright in de finale.

Cadeautjes 

Wright gooide redelijk stabiel, maar kreeg ook veel hulp van tegenstander Durrant. Die miste namelijk op beslissende momenten te veel dubbels, waardoor Wright vrolijk zijn legs mee kon pikken. Snakebite gooide zelf ook echt niet denderend, liet Durrant zelfs nog akelig dichtbij komen, maar mag zich toch gaan opmaken voor de finale.
