Tao Geoghegan Hart ging woensdagmiddag hard onderuit tijdens de 11e etappe van de Giro d'Italia. Zijn team (INEOS Grenadiers) heeft nu een update gegeven over zijn toestand.
Zij schrijven op Twitter dat hun renner zijn linkerheup heeft gebroken. Daarom moet hij onder het mes. Ze wensen hem veel sterkte bij zijn herstel. Ook namens ons, Tao!
Immediately following his involvement in a crash during today’s stage 11 of the #Giro, @taogeoghegan was transported to a local hospital in Genoa.
