Het zijn mooie dagen voor Felipe Drugovich. Zaterdag werd hij de F2-kampioen en maandag kreeg hij een contract onder zijn neus geschoven als testcoureur bij F1-team Aston Martin.
De 22-jarige Braziliaan zal binnenkort al zijn eerste meters maken in de auto van Aston Martin. Bij de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi mag hij het stoeltje van Lance Stroll bezetten tijdens de 1e vrije training. Da's op 18 november.
"Mijn primaire doel is om te leren en me te ontwikkelen als coureur. Ik hoop dat ik daardoor in de toekomst een kans krijg om in de Formule 1 te racen", zegt Drugovich in een persbericht van de renstal.
