Watford tegen Chelsea is na 15 minuten stilgelegd omdat een toeschouwer dringend medische attentie nodig had. De scheidsrechter werd op de situatie geattendeerd door Moussa Sissoko van Watford. Hij maakte het gebaar dat iemand reanimatie nodig had. Ook Chelsea-verdediger Marcos Alonso wees de scheids erop.
Die hulp kwam er inderdaad voor de fan op Vicarage Road. Scheidsrechter David Coote legde daarop de pot stil. Ongeveer een half uur daarna ging de bal weer rollen.
Watford tweet dat de fan een hartaanval had en dat hij is gestabiliseerd.
