Daryl Janmaat heeft een individuele prijs in de wacht gesleept. De back pakte de prijs voor het 'Doelpunt van het jaar' bij Watford. Het gaat om zijn doelpunt tegen Chelsea (4-1 winst) in februari.
De prijs ontving Janmaat tijdens de '2017/18 End of Season Awards Evening' van Watford in het Wembley-stadion. Abdoulaye Doucouré werd gekozen tot 'Speler van het jaar'. Watford staat met nog 1 wedstrijd te spelen op plek 13 in de Premier League.
