Bij de Afrika Cup had de dj de volksliedjes nog niet helemaal op de goede plek klaarliggen. Toen het bij Mauritaniƫ tegen Gambia tijd was om het volkslied van Mauritaniƫ af te spelen, werd dan ook niet het juiste nummer gevonden.
De spelers van de Leeuwen van Chinguetti stonden er beteuterd bij. Het gebeurde namelijk MEERDERE KEREN dat het foute lied werd ingezet. Daarna moesten ze maar zelf zingen, zonder muziek, en dat was ze ook niet helemaal duidelijk.
En ja hoor, dan verloor het land ook nog. Gambia won met 1-0 en dat was gelijk de 1e goal ooit voor Gambia bij het Afrikaans kampioenschap.
